As the autumn months roll in its a chance for us all to ditch the demin cut offs and floral dresses and to grab our oversized coats and jeans. Chunky black boots and layering are the key to surviving the british winter and as the colder days (and nights) start rolling in theres something familiar about wearing multiple layers and thermal socks with your boots. 

When the seasons change I have the urge to go shopping to buy a whole new wardrobe, as last years bobbly knitted jumpers just aren't good enough, but with the amount of choice online and in shops I have no idea what to buy. Being a poor college student who has to pay a ridiculous amount of train fare each month I simply can't afford to spend hundreds on items I probably don't need. With my saved items list on asos going into the thousands I need to slap myself on the hand and just buy what I actually need, like a coat so I don't freeze to death...

I love getting inspiration from tumblr and instagram on what Id love to be wearing and I'm sure everybody else does too. Heres just a few images Ive found that are inspiring me this week...

I think watches are the perfect accessories, you can wear them everyday with absolutely anything. At the moment im sporting a classic silver casio but one day (when I can afford to) I want to upgrade to something a bit more special. Here are two watches that I adore, the daniel wellington one is so classic and timeless yet the michael kors is an elegant statement. If I could I would have watches of ever style and colour, theyre just so easy to put on and you still look perfectly accessoried.

Also, now my exams are finished Im hopefully going to get back into doing regular posts thats if my crazy amount of coursework doesnt get in the way. I would love to just not do any school work but I really need to work hard at my a levels, theyre more difficult that I thought they were going to be and if anyone else is in the same position then I can relate.

Ive just been browsing through every online shop possible, as I always do, and I thought Id do a quick blogpost on all the things I want from missguided. If you havent been on their site before I recommend you do, they have some lovely stuff! They do some really nice pieces that would be lovely this party season and hopefully if santa brings me a few pennies for christmas ill be placing an order from missguided fairly soon.

I love rose gold and skater skirts so when I saw this skirt I fell in love, even though I hate getting my legs out this skirt is to beautiful not to wear and at a bargain price. The Tartan jacket is my cup of tea and would be perfect to chuck on everyday for sixth form, even though im meant to have a dress code I dont normally follow it! I also love the frilly crop top, I find it would look cute with high waisted jeans for that effortless yet made an effort look which everyone loves.

This is just a quick post because my outfits have been boring lately, ive just been wearing the same knitted jumper and scarf paired with my trusty h&m boots which are perfect for the English weather. (If you click on the names of the item it will send you straight there)

Busy busy busy

Just a quick update, im sorry I haven't posted in agesss its sixth forms fault! I've been so busy writing essays and revising so im ready for january exams which I am dreading because I already know im going to fail. I didnt realise how difficult a-levels are, English lit and chemistry are sucking all the life out of me. Ive not been making any effort with outfits so ive not had anything exciting to blog about, I do post a few photos on Instagram though: you can follow me here @abbienic_ *hint hint* - you can also follow me on twitter @uniqu3youth - I might do my christmas wishlist, just because I love putting wishlists together! Heres a few of the things that are on my wishlist this winter, the disco pants are identical to the American Apparel ones but much cheaper! I really want a pair but cant afford to splash out on real ones.

The coat or 'coatigan' as its called on the website is just a fun jacket I would be able to just chuck on most days & still look like ive made an effort, river island are doing lots of these style of coats in loads of different patterns so go check them out.. theyre a bit pricey though, this one is £65 so when youre only get £10 a week then its just on the wishlist for the moment.

The boots from asos are a perfect flatform for the winter &im in love with them, Id do anything to be able to have them, better get saving up then! Also I love the cross necklace from there, its just simple but thats what makes me love it.
